Florida DEP to Hold Public Meetings on Statewide Mercury TMDL

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) announced a series of public meetings in June to discuss a statewide Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for mercury.  FDEP is proposing the statewide TMDL to address excess levels of mercury found in some Florida fish.  Public meetings will be held throughout the state in early June and public workshops will be held in July.  These June meetings are intended to provide the public with an early opportunity to comment on the proposed TMDL. The public is invited to attend these meetings on the dates and at the locations shown below.
